Taking the time to invest in yourself by engaging in counselling and sorting out your life’s issues can be one of the greatest gifts you give to yourself. It can enable you to live your life fully with a sense of purpose and joy.

I offer you Integrative, Humanistic and Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy within which you can explore whatever is troubling you or causing you concern. I believe successful therapy comes out of a good, trusting relationship between counsellor and client. I endeavour to be warmly empathic, non-judgemental and respectful enabling you to feel safe to bring and work through your issues.

I work with Individuals and Couples.

I am experienced in working with Bereavement, Loss, Attachments, Relationships, Sexual Issues, Depression and Anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress, and the impact of Illness and Disability.

I also offer therapy to clients referred through StopSo (Specialist treatment for the prevention of sexual offending).

It may be that your life is good and you would just like to have therapy to get to know yourself better, to become more self-aware and insightful, or perhaps you are doing a counselling course and want to experience the process of being in therapy and for self-development.

I have 40 years experience as a healthcare practitioner and counsellor, starting out in 1976 as a nurse in the NHS specialising in gynaecological nursing before setting up in private practice in 1984 as a Medical Herbalist and Clinical Aromatherapist. I further trained as a Homeopath and Reiki Master Healer, then as a Therapeutic Counsellor and Psychotherapeutic Counsellor. I have completed further post-graduate training in CBT, Mindfulness, Relationship/Couples Counselling, Working with Sex Offenders (StopSO), Trauma therapy, NLP, Domestic Violence and Abuse, Sexual Abuse, Eating Disorders, Bereavement and Loss, and more.
I have volunteered with a national Bereavement Charity since 2005. I support and counsel bereaved clients, and am a trainer of, and provide supervision for bereavement support volunteers.

I also provide supervision to both student and qualified counsellors and therapists in my private practice.

Counselling Fees : £45 per 1 hour session.
